GMT 40% (Thio equivalent 22%) is an acidic reducing agent prepared at the time of use. Mix with a treatment-base solvent in a ratio of 10:2 for use. It reduces in acidic conditions and provides curl formation similar to thioglycolic acid with defined ridges. It also has minimal odor.
